Junior PHP Developer

As a Junior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of web applications and systems using PHP. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in PHP development. You will work closely with senior developers and other team members to create high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Development : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code for various web applications and systems. - Maintenance : Assist in the debugging and troubleshooting of issues in existing applications. - Collaboration : Work with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to project planning and execution. - Testing : Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure software meets functional and performance standards. - Documentation : Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and application functionalities. - Learning : Continuously improve your skills and knowledge in PHP, web development practices, and related technologies. Qualifications : Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience : 0-2 years of professional experience in PHP development. Skills : - Basic understanding of PHP and experience with PHP frameworks (e., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus. - Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies - Understanding of relational databases and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Basic knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Eagerness to learn and grow professionally. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with front-end frameworks (e., React, Vue.js) is a plus. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. - Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Joomla.
