Role Overview : As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision algorithms specifically tailored for manufacturing processes. You will work on exciting projects involving real-time object detection, defect identification, and robotic vision systems, integrating them with edge devices and industrial automation frameworks. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to revolutionize global manufacturing with smarter and more efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities : Computer Vision Development : - Develop and deploy algorithms for defect detection, object recognition, and real-time tracking in manufacturing workflows. - Design robust 3D vision pipelines for tasks such as depth estimation, point cloud processing, and 3D reconstruction. - Implement pose estimation and object alignment techniques for robotic vision systems. - Implement robust real-time object tracking for dynamic environments, ensuring high accuracy under manufacturing conditions. - Design and optimize systems for optical flow and motion analysis to track and predict object movement in high-speed production lines. Real-Time Systems Integration : - Optimize vision algorithms for low-latency, high-throughput performance on edge devices and embedded platforms. - Work with real-time processing frameworks (e., TensorRT, OpenCL) to deliver scalable, high-speed solutions for industrial environments. Industrial Automation and AR Solutions : - Design computer vision systems for assembly line automation, ensuring precision and reliability under production conditions. - Develop AR-based tools for operator assistance, workflow visualization, and real-time quality -monitoring. Performance Optimization : - Leverage GPU acceleration, multi-threading, and model compression techniques to enhance performance on edge and mobile devices. - Ensure vision systems operate effectively under variable lighting, material conditions, and environmental factors. Collaborative Development : - Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision systems with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and IoT platforms. - Contribute to the deployment of scalable solutions in cloud and on-premise industrial environments. Research and Innovation : - Stay updated with advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and edge AI technologies. - Explore and implement innovative solutions using generative AI, multi-modal data processing, and real-time analytics. Requirements : Technical Skills : - Expertise in object detection, tracking, and motion analysis algorithms. - Strong knowledge of computer vision libraries (e., OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow), tools for real-time processing (e., CUDA, TensorRT), and tools (e., Halcon, Cognex). - Proficiency in multi-modal systems integrating visual, depth, and sensor data. - Expertise in feature extraction, defect detection, and pose estimation methods (e., RANSAC, PnP, EKF). - Hands-on experience with few-shot learning and probabilistic models (e., Kalman filters, Bayesian inference). - Deep understanding of optimization techniques for computer vision tasks, including convex optimization and gradient-based methods. - Proficiency in 3D vision technologies, including LiDAR, structured light, and CAD model integration. - Hands-on experience with real-time systems and optimization techniques for edge devices (e., NVIDIA Jetson, Intel Movidius). Programming Expertise : - Proficiency in Python and C++ for high-performance algorithm development. - Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time programming frameworks like CUDA, OpenCL, or Vulkan. Mathematics and Foundations : - Strong understanding of linear algebra, geometry, and optimization techniques essential for computer vision tasks.
