Technical Lead - Java/AWS

Role : Tech Lead - Java AWS Location : Bangalore (Whitefield) Hybrid 3 days/week in office Experience : 9-12 Years Job Description : Responsibilities : - Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Java-based microservices architectures on AWS. - Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns. - Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure high code quality. - Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack. - Design and implement scalable and resilient systems, considering performance, security, and maintainability. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code. - Develop and maintain Spring Boot-based microservices in a cloud-native environment. - Utilize AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.) for full application dataflow. - Integrate and manage database systems using JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, and Spring Data. - Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and support. - Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. - Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. - Lead technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions. - Utilize modern SDLC tools such as Gradle or Maven, Git or SVN, and NPM. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments. - Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define technical requirements. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Required Skills : - Extensive experience in core Java development. - Proven experience in building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot in a cloud environment. - Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Kafka, WSS, and Spring Messaging. - Deep understanding and practical experience with AWS cloud services for full application dataflow. Nice to Have Skills : Experience with MQTT, RabbitMQ, gRPC, Kinesis, or Cloudera. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 9-12 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and AWS. - Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex projects. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment.
