Position : Cloud Operations Engineer. Experience : 3-5 Years. Work Location : Pune. Hybrid Mode of work (3 days work from office). About the Position : - Strong experience in Linux system administration. - Hands-on expertise with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) preferably AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). - Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell scripting and/or programming languages such as Python, golang etc. - Experience working with any major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferably Azure. - Knowledge of monitoring and automation tools for infrastructure operations such Prometheus and Grafana etc. - Understanding of networking, security, and storage configurations in cloud environments. - Ability to troubleshoot performance and reliability issues across infrastructure components. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution. - Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment. - Deploy applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks). - Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. - Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. - Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation though Azure devops pipelines. - Use Postman for API testing and validation of cloud services and integrations. - Write and execute SQL queries to analyze and troubleshoot database issues. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications : - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep Templates in Microsoft Azure and/or basic understanding of either of other Iaac tools such as Terraform,Azure ARMS, Ansible, Pulumi etc. - Experience in designing Disaster Recovery Strategies. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. - Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (e.g, AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator AZ104 or AZ400) not mandatory but nice to have. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Engineer. Skills : Linux, Containers, Kubernetes, Openshift, Powershell, Shell scripting, Any Cloud Provider knowledge preferably Microsoft Azure, Devops experience preferably Azure devops. Desired but not required (not needed for every position) : - Networking & Firewalls : Understanding of VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS management, and cloud-native networking services. - Disaster Recovery & High Availability : Knowledge of backup strategies, failover mechanisms, and DR planning. - Observability & Logging : Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Datadog.
