Mission Indy Inc.

Summer Intern

Job Location

Indianapolis - Indianapolis, IN, United States

Job Description

For 23 years Mission Indy has been offering these multi-faceted, paid summer internships providing opportunities to lead and encourage church groups. These internships include hands-on ministry in and area that interns are passionate about with one of Mission Indy's partner ministries or agencies. They also include a framework for spiritual growth as Mission Indy Staff intentionally pours into and disciples each intern.

The internship is open to anyone who has been out of high school at least one year, whether or not they have completed any college work. We welcome students from all majors and years of school.

The summer begins with a fun retreat and two weeks of training, where interns gain practical skills and have in depth conversations on the nature of the Body of Christ, and how Christians should respond to current issues. The interns then spend seven weeks alternating between leading church groups in service work around the city, and the weeks of hands on ministry experience.

Mission Indy provides housing and food in addition to training and wrap around care.
