Responsibilities: Oversee all technology operations for a technology team and evaluate them according to established goals. Managing all parts of the IT department, including managing IT teams, hiring members, handling employees' concerns and performances, and communicating with other departments when collaboration is required. Responsible for Managing 5 different teams (IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus, Kafka, AWS, Azure Kafka infrastructure and Devops) Analyze and planning business requirements for IT systems. Coordinate IT managers and supervise engineers and other professionals to provide guidance. Identifying and recommending new technology solutions. Analyzing IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs. Control budget and report on expenditure. Implementing executive policies Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts. Conducting performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Managing IT staff, responsible for recruitment, evaluation, training, guidance, disciplinary procedures, and dismissals. Working with engineers to develop plans and strategies. The goals here are to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness and encourage innovation. Required Skills: Assists in the troubleshooting and resolution of MQ and IIB infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations. Hands on experience working with Udeploy and any version control systems like Git/Github. Work with Vendor partners to open cases and work with them to resolution. Work with security team to remediate product vulnerabilities. Work with application teams to gather requirements and understand the design and help them with the build path to production. Work with application teams to do performance and resiliency testing. Implementing best practices and work with product owners to implement the roadmap. Required Experience & Education: 11-13 years of experience Experience in administration & configuration of IBM MQ V8.0 , IIB/ACE across Windows, UNIX platforms, Mainframe and AS400 Hands on experience in Product & Fixpack installations and version upgrades of MQ, WMB v8 & IIBv10. Hands on experience in creating & configuring QMGRs and MQ objects like queues, channels, listeners, topics, subscriptions. Implementing security in Message broker (role-based and queue-based) & configuration of web admin consoles & integrating IIB with LDAP. Should have worked on Multi Instance QMGR & Broker configurations. Hands on experience in implementing DQM setup and Client-Server architecture. Have worked on QMGR Cluster configuration and implementation of workload balancing in clusters. Hands on experience in SSL implementation on both MQ and Message Broker v8, IIB v10. College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience. Location & Hours of work Full-time position, extended/ Split shift (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM IST / 7:30 PM - 4:30 AM EST / 8:30 PM - 5:30 AM EDT) working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate. Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
