As a Business Development Intern, your primary responsibility will be to assist in identifying and qualifying potential customer leads, initiate contact, and support relationship-building efforts with prospective clients and customers. Your contributions will help expand our customer base in Edinburgh and provide valuable learning experiences in business development. Responsibilities: Assist in utilising various channels, including Residential, Events, Retail, and B2B campaigns to generate new leads. Support consultative selling by learning to understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs. Gain and maintain a foundational understanding of our products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Work closely with the sales team to help develop and implement strategies for driving sales growth. Assist in coaching and supporting team members in day-to-day activities. Foster relationships with clients by providing support in managing their inquiries and addressing any concerns. Stay updated on industry developments and attend relevant networking events or conferences with the team. Requirements: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and internal teams. Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in business development. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
