Certification Details BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR ACLS (AHA) Job Details General job duties. Types of procedures required. This position is for a Circulating RN who will be responsible for the delivery of care in the Peri-operative setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and older adults. The Circulating RN coordinates with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, pre and post-operative nurses, and surgical tech while maintaining standards of professional nursing. May be asked to train other nurses. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.: Computerized charting, meditech. Job Requirements 2 years experience. Graduation from accredited Nursing Program. Current AK RN license. Schedule Information Shifts are varied, but typically M-F 8am to 5pm, or 3 12 hour shifts 7am - 7:30pm, or 7:00pm to 7:30am, and on call night shifts. Unit Specific Information Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.: 20 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:1 Dress Code: scrubs provided by facility.
