Job Description Job Description About the Role: Busy Internal Medicine practice is hiring an Experienced Medical Assistant/LPN who is positive, energetic, and well-organized. You will be responsible for the Patient Experience of every patient who walks into the office by assisting in examining and treating patients. Responsibilities: Patient rooming, vital signs, and reviewing medical history. Performs phlebotomy, injections, EKG, and collects specimens Document scanning & filing Medication reconciliation and e-scribing Phone Triage Requirements: Graduation from a Medical Assistant or other relevant program, OR an active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant designation 2 years of experience working in an Internal Medicine or Family Practice Fluent Bilingual Spanish Speaker Computer and Fax server skills Knowledge of Microsoft applications Experience using eClinicalWorks EHR software Proficient multitasker with excellent communication skills and professional appearance Perks/Benefits: Paid Holidays No evenings or weekends 401K Great work/life balance Very nice office environment About Us: Dr. Javier Canasi has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years.
