Applied Cloud Computing - SAP Costing/Finance Functional Consultant

Experience : - 8 years of full-time experience in SAP technologies primarily in Finance, Costing, Planning Areas - Hands on experience in developing SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) reports mainly in costing & Finance areas. Job Description Process / Functional knowledge : - Strong functional knowledge in Costing & Finance. - Strong knowledge of Inventory subledger, Snapshot, standard cost, Production order, variance, Internal order , Devaluation - Product costing, financial reporting using - SAC Reporting : - Candidate should be familiar with different type of connections (Live, Data Import, etc.) - Hand-on experience with creation of different type of stories and reports. - Should be very good at responsive and canvas layouts. - Experience in drill-down reports. - Should have experience in working with S/4 integration both live and data import. - Should be comfortable with data discovery, geospatial charts and tables. - Experience in interactive dashboard design - Nice to have : Web Intelligence on SAP HANA Standards/Development Process : - By using Project Standards and Processes, prepare the functional, technical design and develop the application to ensure the development work in compliance with the specifications. - Must know to prepare test cases, data for the developed report based on Functional design document and test them thoroughly. - Hands on expertise in determining and/or validating the development effort estimates, preparing test data. Soft skills/Analytical skills & Other Requirements : - Good Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy. - Very good awareness of entire SDLC and processes related to SDLC. Should also be good in visualizing and formulating process flow : Must be willing to work in any shift : 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM shift or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift (all hours in IST) Good to have / Added advantage : Japanese language skill, working experience with Japanese Qualification : B-Tech, BE, Graduate from Reputed & Responsibilities : - Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Costing. - Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements - Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs. - Design, customize, configure and testing of Costing module - Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions. - Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems - Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues; - Document functional designs, test cases and results. - Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements - Provide support on both new implementations and existing support projects - Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team. - Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required - Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members Desired Skills & Experience - Understanding of accounting business processes - Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective (ref:hirist.tech)
