Backend Developer - Node.js/TypeScript

Backend Developer Location : Remote Time Zone : US Experience Range : 5 years relevant Product Background Must haves : TypeScript, Apollo Server, GraphQL, Prisma Should be able to build models using Apollo and Prisma from scratch. Must have handled end to end project deliveries - B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college. - Good problem solving skills. - Deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery. Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services using Apollo Server, Prisma, and PostgreSQL. You will work closely with frontend developers to ensure the seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable APIs using Apollo Server. - Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. - Implement Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) functionality with Prisma. - Collaborate with frontend developers using Quasar to build responsive web applications. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Troubleshoot and debug applications as necessary. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply best Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role. - Proficiency in Apollo Server and GraphQL. - Strong experience with Prisma as an ORM for interacting with databases. - Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design principles. - Familiarity with server-side templating languages and RESTful APIs. - Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. - Understanding of frontend technologies, particularly Quasar, is a plus. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with other databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL) is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.). - Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of unit testing and TDD methodologies.
