L2 IT Application Support Engineer

Job Description : - Engineering graduate with a minimum of 3 Years of relevant experience: IMP NOTE: Should have hands on experience in reconciliation process in Banking Domain and Preferably worked on UPI/CBDC/ Payment Cards - Perform manual reconciliation of banking transactions using Excel-based templates and tools. Validate and match transactions from multiple sources such as bank statements, ledgers, payment gateways, and internal records. - Identify and investigate discrepancies, missing transactions, and duplicate entries. - Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to resolve reconciliation issues. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports for management review. - Maintain accurate records of reconciled transactions and document the reconciliation process. - Support in automating reconciliation tasks where feasible using Excel formulas, and macros - Escalate unresolved reconciliation issues to the appropriate teams for resolution. - Manage and allocate day-to-day support, as well as manage customer helpdesk. - Proficiency in recognizing potential areas for process and procedural enhancements and leading or supporting their implementation. - Investigate technical system events, issues, and user inquiries by responding to and managing service requests. - Oracle Database, SQL Server experience (managing SQL servers) - Writing SQL Queries for Data Extraction - Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration Qualifications (Nice to Have) : - Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and reconciliation. - Exposure to the banking and financial services domain. - Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools. - Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and reconciliation. - Exposure to the banking and financial services domain.
