For 2025 season – from end March to end October we are looking for talented people to join our Team. JOB TITLE: Store Clerk DEPARTMENT: Purchasing, Receiving & Storeroom NATIONALITY: Eligible for a working permit in the country of hire (Italy) EDUCATION: High School/College education or equivalent experience EXPERIENCE: To fill the position, the following is required: 1-3 years in purchasing, receiving or storeroom functions LANGUAGE: Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment: Local language – excellent oral and written skills (Italian) English – excellent oral and written skills COMPETENCIES: Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors Strong organizational and time management skills Applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times Works in a safe, prudent and organized manner TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Computer literacy adapted to the field of training: Ability to operate computer and mechanical equipment Proficiency in Excel and Word Experience in respective computer software is a plus Knowledge of food handling, quality control and local regulations INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS: To fill this position the candidate must identify with the Kempinski core values, in addition they should be especially: People Oriented Passionate for European luxury Straightforward Flexible and reliable Energetic Tolerant and open minded Works well under pressure SCOPE The overall scope of this role is to ensure that Hotel Inventory Stores are correctly maintained and controlled. OVERALL OBJECTIVES To safeguard the financial integrity and stability of the hotel and minimize any exposure to potential risks. To receive, store, and issue goods following the established procedures. The job of Store Clerk is executed satisfactorily when: All goods received are labeled and verified. Items are stored correctly and maintained in a safe, sanitary and organized storage. Store requisitions are only issued with authorized request forms. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for following and understanding all Kempinski Policies & Procedures. Responsible for behaving in a professional and harmonious manner and following the Kempinski code of conduct. Responsible for entering issued goods into the system when necessary. Responsible for maintaining proper labeling of items including name and dates, as well as the corresponding par levels. Responsible for issuing goods in a timely manner against the corresponding authorized requisition. Responsible for inventories of storerooms within the stipulated guidelines. Responsible for alerting supervisor on dead or slow moving stock. Responsible for reviewing and recording any goods issued after hours. Responsible for ensuring that all storerooms are locked, supervised, organized, and clean at all times. Responsible for performing any additional duties assigned by Management and assisting in other areas of Purchasing as needed. Responsible for communicating with supervisor on any discrepancies or other potential problems. Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel. J-18808-Ljbffr
