Multi-Skilled Engineer - Paddock Wood - Contract or Permanent available Shifts: Rotating 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm Job Summary: I am recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer on behalf of my client based in Paddock Wood. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, working on a rotating early and late shift pattern. The role involves maintaining and improving equipment, troubleshooting faults, and supporting engineering projects to ensure smooth production. Your Role: Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation faults. Support engineering projects, including new equipment installation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Work closely with production and other teams to drive continuous improvement. What My Client is Looking For: 60/40 electrical bias preferred. Engineering qualification (HNC, ONC, apprenticeship, or equivalent). Hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance. Strong electrical and mechanical problem-solving skills. Experience with pumps, motors, steam systems, pneumatics (advantageous). Knowledge of safety regulations (IOSH, Permit to Work). Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word).
