Sopra Steria - Module Lead - Performance Testing & Engineering

Role Overview : As a Performance Testing Module Lead, you will be responsible for leading and executing performance testing activities, ensuring the stability, scalability, and responsiveness of our applications. You will collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and contribute to the overall performance engineering strategy. This role requires a strong technical background in performance testing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of performance tests using Gatling and other relevant tools. - Develop and maintain performance test strategies, plans, and scripts. - Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks, providing recommendations for optimization. - Ensure adherence to performance testing best practices and standards. - Mentoring and guiding junior performance testers. - Contribute to the performance engineering lifecycle, including capacity planning, load modeling, and system tuning. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline. - Proactively identify potential performance risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Hands-on experience with Gatling for end-to-end performance testing. - Proficiency in using APM tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, or New Relic for performance monitoring and analysis. - Experience with profiling tools like JProfiler, JVisualVM, and SQL Profiler for detailed performance analysis. - Experience with JMeter, and Postman. - Strong programming skills in Scala and Java. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Proficiency in using build tools like Maven and Gradle. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Experience with front end performance testing tools. - Gather and analyze non-functional requirements related to performance. - Translate business requirements into performance test scenarios. - Document performance test results and provide detailed reports.
