Job Description : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications and services. - Analyze, understand, and debug complex existing Java codebases to identify and resolve issues. - Write efficient and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices. - Utilize scripting languages (primarily Python or Perl) to automate repetitive tasks, build utility scripts, and perform data manipulation. - Develop and maintain scripts for system administration, build processes, and deployment automation. - Integrate Java applications with other systems and services using various protocols and technologies. - Collaborate with other developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. - Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across different environments. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java and scripting technologies. - Potentially work with and integrate with systems or applications written in other : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development. - Proven experience in writing and debugging complex Java code. - Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language : Python or Perl. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control systems (e.g., Git). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a Skills : - Core Java : Strong ability to read, understand, debug, and develop production-grade Java code. - Python or Perl Scripting : Proven expertise in writing effective and efficient scripts using either Python or Perl for automation and other tasks. - Debugging Skills : Excellent debugging skills in Java Skills : - Experience with Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.). - Experience with RESTful API development and integration. - Familiarity with SQL and database technologies. - Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Experience with Linux/Unix environments. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with other scripting languages (Shell scripting). - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
