Humanetics - Web Application & Python Automation Developer

Role Purpose : This crucial role involves designing, developing, and deploying web-based applications that enhance our business operations. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of core programming languages and frameworks, who is also experienced in creating scalable and efficient solutions. Essential Functions & Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy web-based license applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. - Engage in all development lifecycle phasesfrom requirement gathering and design to coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. - Ensure all designs meet specifications. - Prepare and produce software component releases. - Foster continuous improvement by evaluating alternative technologies and presenting them for architectural review. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet requirements and deliver projects on schedule. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as necessary. Other Significant Role Requirements : - Hands-on software development experience, with a proven track record in Java and Python web application development. - Experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms and Python frameworks like Django or Flask. - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. - Deep knowledge of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.). - Excellent command of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). - Experience with popular web frameworks (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC). - Commitment to test-driven development. - Mastery of software engineering tools. - Ability to document requirements and specifications clearly. Supervision : None Customer Focus : This is a highly visible position with a critical impact on the companys future. Internal and external contacts include all levels of employees within the company, division management, consultants, and other professional business contacts within the industry. External contacts are key to the effective execution of the objectives of the company. Frequently these interactions will involve extremely complex, emotional, and sensitive issues. Success in this area is vital for the development of the existing and future business. Critical Competencies : - Proficiency in front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX). - Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). - Knowledge of build tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle). - Experience with continuous integration.
