Backend Developer - Java

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based applications using Spring Boot. - Develop and maintain Microservices architecture, ensuring seamless communication and integration. - Implement and manage messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Troubleshoot and debug production issues and implement effective solutions. - Ensure adherence to best coding practices, security standards, and DevOps principles. Skill-set Requirements : - Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, JWT, OAuth2, and Role Based Access Control (RBAC). - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. - Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA). - Experience with RESTful API design and development; OpenAPI documentation. - Experience with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and version control systems (Git). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab). - Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, JMeter). - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Bonus Points : - Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). - Contributions to open-source projects.
