Duties: Book keeping up to trail balance on Pastel Debtors: Invoicing Statements Recons Creditors: Batching supplier invoices Approving invoices for payment Payroll Recons Stock management: Costing Recording sales Working out stock splits between stores Price mark-downs Stock allocation between stores Monthly expenses VAT schedules SARS submissions Weekly cash flow projections Reports: Cash Holding Reports (monthly) Stock Holding Reports (monthly) HR: Leave schedules Loans Discipline Issuing warnings Training Marketing: Coming up with promotions Submitting ads to newspapers Keeping Facebook page updated Compile ads and place on Facebook Online Yaga selling of stock Keeping Website updated Daily Banking Requirements: Grade 12 Must have sound financial acumen, and bookkeeping experience Must have at least 4 5 years experience in a similar role Must be fully computer literate, and proficient in Pastel and Excel Candidate must be knowledgeable and proficient with social media Social media marketing experience is a HUGE plus Must be bilingual (English & Afrikaans) Must have contactable references
