Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate Carpentry Trade Certificate (advantageous but not always required) 25 years' experience in furniture making or carpentry Skilled in working with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery Ability to read and understand technical drawings or design sketches Strong understanding of wood types, finishes, and construction methods Preferred Attributes: Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Good time management and ability to meet deadlines Team player with a strong work ethic Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials or furniture Customer service experience for custom work or delivery/installations
