Backend Developer - Java Technologies

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, Jakarta EE). - Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate with front-end developers, mobile developers, and other stakeholders to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration. - Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability. - Optimize application performance and scalability. - Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs. - Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) to design and implement data models and efficient data access layers. - Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) effectively. - Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java backend development. - Contribute to the design and architecture of our systems. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in Java programming language. - Experience with one or more relevant Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, Jakarta EE). - Understanding of RESTful API design and development. - Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL). - Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). - Understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team (ref:hirist.tech)
