We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Full Stack Java Developer to be a member of the ETF Application Development team. The position is primarily responsible for involvement in ETF Order Management System project using the latest Java and Web technologies and following Scrum methodology. This position requires a skilled individual who can contribute in a mature and proactive way to all phases of project lifecycle. Your responsibilities Contribute to the Burst ReWrite project by delivering best solutions possible using AngularJS, CQRS and Spring frameworks, on top of Java8 and RESTfull backend Manage the existing suite of applications across a variety of technical stacks Collaborate with architects, engineers, business partners, clients, and other systems areas to improve new or existing products, and create new ideas for improving the product suite Our requirements Strong experience in core Java8 Experience with Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) Strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns SQL – must be able to write simple to moderate complexity SQL queries Web development skills – experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery) Experience with ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate) Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Spock Automated build platforms/continuous integration experience and knowledge (Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Gradle) Knowledge and applying TDD principles in practice Ability to interpret and troubleshoot applications using logs (troubleshooting Java memory issues, analyzing java heap/thread dumps, troubleshooting application issues) Experience with Unix platforms Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Problem solving skills, able to determine upcoming risks & issues and address them Fluent English and good communication skills Optional Experience with message queue brokers (WebSphere MQ, Oracle AQ) Experience with Tomcat Experience with databases (DB2 / Oracle) Experience with test automation tools (Selenium/WebDriver, JBehave) Experience with Apache Camel Principles of data modeling What we offer Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years To encourage cultural awareness and philanthropy, BBHers have 1 Culture Celebration Day and 1 Community Service Day in addition to their paid standard vacation allowance Task based working system 24 days of occasional remote work from Poland during a calendar year Contracts for an indefinite period, from day one Private medical care Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program - offering independent and confidential counselling services for you and your family.
