Maintenance Engineer

A well-known Coventry based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer for their modern production facility. You will be part of a team of shift engineers providing engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and auxiliary systems. Great career progression opportunities Benefits: Salary of c£54k OT Subsidised canteen Staff discounts 23 Shifts leave your birthday off Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer: 4 on 4 off Shifts – Days and Nights (12 hour) 06.30 – 18:30 and 18.30 – 06.30 (blocks of 4) Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements Quals / Experience required of Maintenance Engineer: Apprenticeship trained Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level Multi skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills / experience Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production Manufacturing / production experience required To apply If you are an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge at a great company please apply Wagstaff Recruitment – Building Trusted Relationships to Create Great Opportunities
