Quality & Environment Coordinator

I am seeking a Quality & Environment Coordinator to join a successful business in Birmingham, in a home-based position. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the high standards of quality and environmental compliance across their Stoke & Wolverhampton sites. Home Based Frequent travel to Stoke & Wolverhampton sites Client Details Our client is a mid-sized organisation operating in the industrial / manufacturing industry. They are known for their commitment to maintaining high quality and environment standards, and are recognised for their innovative approach to engineering and manufacturing. Description Perform routine environmental compliance audits/inspections. Record results. Ensure any environmental incidents are logged onto our recording systems promptly. Produce monthly environmental KPIs for internal/external use. Assist with compiling reports for internal and external use. Maintain quality and environmental management system documentation. Receive and log incoming environmental reports. Perform quality and environmental checks on suppliers. Perform duty of care checks on waste management partners. Monitor the performance of quality and environmental objectives. Ensure residue samples are collected and despatched correctly from sites. Support Group Quality and Environment Manager with other business tasks as required. Home Based Frequent travel to Stoke & Wolverhampton sites Profile You will either be a graduate with some work experience, or an experienced person with an interest in Environmental management as well as: Ideally, a relevant qualification in quality, health & safety or environmental safety Attention to detail Excellent organisation & time management skills Pro-active, motivated & able to work independently Interest or experience in environmental management Job Offer A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £32,000 a £3,000 car allowance.
