Physician (MD/DO) - Hospitalist in New York

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Nocturnist Job Duration: Full-time, Permanent Shift: Night Shifts, 12-hours (7:00 pm – 7:00 am), 7 on/7 off. Block scheduling available but not required Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Open to recent graduates working toward board certification and experienced candidates License: New York License (or willing to obtain) Certifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Must-Have: DEA (or willing to obtain), clean malpractice/license history, not located within 30 miles of the facility Job Description: - Join an established, directly employed hospital medicine program. - Excellent colleagues and strong system practice support. - Flexible scheduling in a physician-friendly environment. - Closed ICU; Nocturnists are responsible for running rapids and codes. ICU providers handle ICU-related tasks. - No required procedures. - Average daily census of 15-18 patients per physician per day. - Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are part of the team. - Acceptance of candidates needing H-1B visa support.
