Job Title: Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist Job Specialty: Psychiatry - Outpatient Job Duration: Permanent Shift: Days Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts On call Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Experienced candidates preferred, but recent graduates working toward Board Certification are accepted License: NY License (or willing to obtain) Certifications: Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification) or Board Certified in Psychiatry Must-Have: DEA (or willing to obtain) Job Description: - Provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. - Position hours are Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts. - Participate in call rotation, which includes weekends (one weekend per month) and rotating night call. - Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills and communication skills. - A strong commitment to providing team-oriented care is essential. - Position is not open to telemedicine, visa candidates, or locum tenens candidates. - Compensation includes a starting bonus, relocation allowance (if applicable), and excellent benefits including health, vision, and dental insurances. - Paid malpractice insurance, including post-employment tail coverage. - CME time and expense allowance offered. - Paid time away from the practice. - Two-part retirement savings program with employer matching program.
