The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester (e.g., Latin and/or ancient Greek language at all levels, Latin and/or ancient Greek literature, Greek and/or Roman history/culture). The applicant must be committed to excellence in teaching. Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: part-time/9-months Department: 133-Classical Studies Duties and Responsibilities Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught. Graduate (M.A.) courses will be taught either online or simulcast (campus and online). Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have an M.A. in Classics and be working towards a Ph.D. in Classics or related field. Candidates must have teaching experience. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Classics. For graduate (M.A.) courses, experience teaching online.
