Junior Graphic Designer

Our client is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join their team, based in East London. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field Relevant design internship or portfolio demonstrating design skills Basic understanding of web design principles (may be required depending on the role) Required Skills: Proficiency in design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Basic understanding of design principles: Composition, color theory, typography Attention to detail: Ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in design elements Communication skills: Effectively communicate design ideas and collaborate with team members Creativity: Ability to generate fresh and visually appealing designs Time management: Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently Requirements: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential. Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08h00 – 16h30 No weekends or public holidays Job Responsibilities: Supporting senior designers: Assist with design projects by creating drafts, mock-ups, and basic design elements Developing design skills: Learn and apply design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques Creating visual assets: Design graphics for websites, social media posts, marketing materials, email campaigns, and print materials Collaborating with team members: Work with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver designs that align with brand guidelines Researching trends: Stay updated on current design trends and industry best practices File management: Organize and maintain design files according to project requirements Providing design feedback: Receive and incorporate constructive criticism from senior designers
