About the Role: As an Assistant Town Planner, you will be involved in a variety of planning projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and work alongside experienced professionals in the field. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the preparation of planning applications and reports. Conducting site appraisals and preparing technical assessments. Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders. Researching and preparing planning documents in line with relevant policies and legislation. Supporting senior team members in managing planning applications through to decision stage. About You: We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in Town Planning or a related field, ideally with some experience in a planning-related role. The successful candidate will have: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A good understanding of planning legislation and policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software (such as AutoCAD, GIS, or similar). A proactive attitude with the ability to work well within a team.
