Technical Sales Graduate

CK Group are recruiting for a Technical Sales Graduate, to join a Hazardous Waste Management company, on a full time, permanent basis. The salary for this role is £25,000 per annum. Location: This role will be based at the company's site near Cannock which is commutable from Walsall, Aldridge, Lichfield, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Burntwood. Technical Sales Graduate: Your main duties will be: Assist in reviewing and assessing waste streams, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), WM3 classifications, and pre-acceptance documentation. Support the pre-acceptance and waste approval process, ensuring compliance with Environmental Agency regulations, ADR, and COSHH. Work with the Technical Assessors and laboratory teams to arrange sampling and analysis for waste verification. Gain a working knowledge of site permits, waste acceptance criteria (WAC), and disposal/treatment options. Assist in reviewing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), supporting investigations and corrective actions. Work with the commercial team to provide technical input on waste streams and disposal options. Ensure customer queries related to waste approvals and compliance are handled effectively. Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience: Science A levels, science degree or equivalent. Interest in waste classification, hazardous materials, and environmental compliance. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail when reviewing technical documents and regulations.
