Manufacturing Engineer - PCBA Focus Location: Stevenage Salary: Circa £43,500 Bonus Excellent Benefits Hybrid working: 4-5 days/week on-site Ready to shape the future of manufacturing in a highly advanced engineering environment? We're looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing team focused on early-stage product development and production of complex, low-volume, high-mix PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) products. Up to £2,500 annual bonus Pension contributions of up to 14% Paid overtime flexible leave (up to 15 extra days) Enhanced parental leave policies Great site facilities, including subsidised meals & free parking Opportunity to grow into future-focused roles like Industrial Validation & Factory of the Future What you'll be doing: Work across multiple projects in both development and production PCBA environments Interface with design teams to optimise for manufacturability (DfM) and support NPI initiatives Support non-conformance resolution and continuous improvement efforts Create and review manufacturing instructions, design changes, and Bills of Materials Perform and review PFMEAs Help shape design rules and processes for early-stage PCBAs Resolve shop floor queries and build strong cross-functional relationships What we're looking for: Technical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21) and HNC or equivalent OR a BEng/BSc in a relevant Engineering/Technical discipline Hands-on experience with circuit card manufacturing Strong knowledge of PCBA processes and technologies Experience in process development, work instructions, and cross-functional collaboration If you're passionate about cutting-edge electronic manufacturing and want to be involved from prototype to production, we'd love to hear from you.
