Morson are recruiting for Platers for their client based in Barrow in Furness. What you will be doing: Fabricate, Assemble and/or install parts of a ship Marking off materials Assembling of ships structures (Shell, Decks, Bulkheads, Frames and Longditudinals Outfitting Ships items such as Seats, Ladders, False flooring & Panels The role is a 12 month contract with starts subject to security clearance. There is a trade test over 2 weeks when you start as part of your training. You will need heavy industry background such as oil and gas, marine, shipbuilding.
