We currently have the following opportunity: Active Travel Co-ordinator - PKC12557 £29,507 - £31,609 Pullar House, Perth The role is based within the Active Travel and Urban Traffic Control (UTC) Team. Your primary responsibility will be to co-ordinate active travel within the Traffic and Network team. Your duties will involve preparing works orders, contract documentation, procurement of works, and supervising works on site of minor active travel projects. You will also be required to assist with active travel grant applications, discuss active travel with key stakeholders and work with schools to improve active travel. Skills & Experience Required Experience of working in active travel is essential. Experience of delivering minor active travel projects is desirable. You must have good computer skills. You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross, and on occasion to locations outwith the Council area. It is expected you will have well-developed written, oral and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate confidently, clearly and precisely with a broad and varied “audience”. You should have the ability to work well within a team environment and on your own initiative.
