Finance Assistants Lead Salary £35,000 Location Chelmsford Permanent, Full Time We are looking for a Finance Assistants Lead to oversee and guide the team of Finance Assistants, ensuring they effectively support CHP's Finance team and wider business in delivering high-quality financial management and control. The role also involves providing critical support to all Finance streams, facilitating the Business Partners in producing accurate and insightful financial and management information to aid informed decision-making. What you'll be doing Manage Finance Assistants, overseeing tasks like invoice processing, payments, and tax compliance. Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and innovation in Finance. Drive continuous enhancement of accounting standards, compliance, and financial processes. Support the Finance team in delivering high-quality accounting, compliance, treasury, and management accounting services. Assist in preparing management reports, cash flows, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. What we are looking for Professional accountant, part-qualified or qualified CCAB, or Association of Accounting Technicians. Ability to lead a team, driving process improvements and delivering excellent internal customer service. Experience of engaging with management with the gravitas to support and influence their decision making Good knowledge of financial legislation and practice. Strong experience in collating, preparing and interpreting reports and accounts. Benefits The salary for this post will be £35,000 Per Annum.
