Job Description
The Post We seek a Second in the Mathematics Department who will support the Head of Department and help lead through encouragement and enthusiasm and foster team spirit. They will deputise in the Head of Department’s absence, attend weekly planning meetings with them, assist with departmental appraisals and take responsibility for a key area within the department. The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills and be an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate with exemplary classroom practice. They will contribute to the development of Mathematics at Sevenoaks and be capable of stretching and inspiring motivated students and instilling a passion for the subject. A commitment to excellent pastoral care, enriching co-curricular and outreach activities is also expected. Please see attached Job Description below for full details.
