Venue Sales Manager

Title: Venue Sales Manager Location: London Salary: £40,000 - £45,00 basic plus uncapped commission with an OTE of £85,000 Company Benefits: AXA Health Insurance Scheme Discounted Gym Membership Contributory Pension Scheme 33 days of holiday (including Bank Holidays) This position will include working within a small, close-knit team, driving the pro-active sales activities as well as handling a high number of incoming enquiries with 70% of the event enquires coming via event agencies. The business is now ready for the next level and requires a proactive sales manager who can implement the sales strategy and take ownership. You will manage the booking up to contract stage when the operations team then take over and complete the planning and logistics and deliver the service. You will report directly to the Director and will be empowered with significant autonomy in how you approach this role. Proactively generate new business opportunities through outreach and industry connections. ? Manage incoming enquiries, conduct venue show rounds, and convert leads into confirmed bookings. ? Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to maximise venue occupancy. ? Create engaging social media content to promote the venue and attract new clients. ? Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients to encourage repeat business. ? Attend industry networking events to represent and promote the venue. About You: ? A natural people person - energetic, bubbly, and confident. ? Strong background in venue sales, events, or hospitality. ? A proven track record of securing new business and exceeding sales targets. ? Well-connected within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) sector. ? Excellent communication and negotiation skills. ? Comfortable creating compelling social media content to drive engagement. ? Passionate about the events industry and eager to attend networking events.
