Electrician – Reactive & Remedial Installs (Brighton & Hove Council Contract) Location: Brighton & Hove Salary: £40,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Company Our client is a well-established electrical contractor based in Sussex, proudly serving the region for over 45 years. The Role - Electrician – Reactive & Remedial Installs They are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced electrician to join their reactive maintenance team, working on the Brighton & Hove Council commercial contract. This role focuses on reactive repairs with occasional small-scale installations across a variety of council-operated commercial premises. Key Responsibilities: Working as part of a team of 4, delivering reactive maintenance and remedial installations Covering commercial properties including libraries, town halls, public facilities, and buildings within the Pavilion estate Responding to urgent repairs and maintenance requests Carrying out minor electrical installations as required Interfacing with council representatives and maintaining professional relationships Requirements: 10–15 years of experience (including apprenticeship) Fully qualified: NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition Testing & Inspection certification (desirable but not essential) Full, clean UK driving licence Clean DBS check Professional, client-facing manner with excellent communication skills Must live locally to Brighton What’s on Offer: Competitive salary of £40,000 Company van and fuel card (business use only) Paid overtime (double time on weekends) Parking permit provided 21 days annual leave 8 bank holidays Ongoing training and development opportunities Full uniform and PPE supplied PLEASE CONTACT SEAN HITCHMAN ON /
