Job Description Job Description Job Title: Assembly Machine Operator – Production Location: Fountain Inn, SC Industry: Injection Molding Pay and Shifts: • 3rd Shift: 11 pm – 7:30 am, Sunday – Thursday $15.35 Job Description and Responsibilities • Assemble a variety of plastic parts: automotive parts to prescribed specifications. • Maintain a neat and orderly workstation • Perform all required job functions in a safe manner consistent with plant safety standards. • Meet or exceed time standards for the particular operation being performed. • Perform required paperwork such as quality checks, parts requests, etc., for the particular • operation being performed. • Perform necessary material handling duties required by the operation. • Perform any necessary line/product changes or preventative maintenance required by the • operation. • Work together and communicate daily with fellow associates about operation and safety • issues • Repair non-conforming parts by following “Rework Procedures�. • Assist leaders (set-up persons) in machine set up. • Participate in problem-solving process. • Participate in “Continuous Improvement Process� Requirements • High School diploma or GED equivalent • One year in the manufacturing environment Professional Experience / Qualifications • Basic understanding of sound manufacturing processes, plant safety and environmental regulations. The Labor Grade within this Job Classification is dependent on experience, knowledge, responsibility, performance, dependability and job complexity.
