Job Title: Payables Analyst – Mexico Location: Mexico Department: Finance / Accounting Reports to: Payables Manager / Regional Finance Lead About Salary：The annual salary for this position is 300,000–450,000MIX, including a year-end bonus. We are seeking finance graduates, preferably those graduating in 2024 or 2025. Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Payables Analyst to support our accounts payable operations in Mexico. This role involves verifying VAT-compliant invoices, processing payments to vendors, and handling the preparation and distribution of physical paper checks, ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations and internal policies. Key Responsibilities: ꔷ VAT Invoice Verification: Review and validate vendor invoices to ensure compliance with Mexico’s VAT tax requirements. ꔷ Accounts Payable Processing: Accurately input and process invoices, reconcile statements, and support timely payment runs. ꔷ Payroll Check Preparation & Distribution: Prepare and manage the issuance of physical payroll checks, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization. ꔷ Vendor Support: Communicate with vendors to address invoice discrepancies and follow up on documentation as needed. ꔷ Recordkeeping & Compliance: Maintain organized records of payable transactions and ensure documentation meets internal and external audit standards. ꔷ Team Collaboration: Work closely with finance, tax, and procurement teams to support smooth and compliant payables operations. Qualifications: ꔷ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ꔷ 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a Mexican business environment. ꔷ Solid understanding of Mexico VAT regulations and tax invoice validation. ꔷ Experience handling physical checks is a plus. ꔷ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ꔷ Proficient in Excel and accounting/payables software. ꔷ Spanish fluency required; English proficiency preferred.
