Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: Peacock Business Operations: The Direct-to-Consumer (Peacock) Business Operations intern will support the Growth Program Management team. This team provides visibility, coordination, and operational guidance across the growth portfolio for a high-growth organization. As a GPM Intern, you will have the opportunity to support various projects related to program management, cross-functional coordination, and operational excellence. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in business management, communications, operations, organizational design, economics, or similar fields who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to solving complex operational challenges and driving strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities may include: assisting in program management tasks, including creating project trackers, monitoring milestones, and facilitating team communications; supporting growth initiatives by gathering and analyzing data, preparing insights, and contributing to strategic planning; helping maintain visibility across multiple workstreams by creating and updating dashboards and reporting tools; assisting in spotting inefficiencies and improvement areas and sharing creative ideas to solve problems; collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency; developing compelling presentations and documentation to communicate progress and insights to stakeholders; and supporting change management efforts by analyzing stakeholder needs and helping craft targeted communications. Qualifications Basic Requirements: Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026). December 2025 graduates are not eligible for our 2025-2026 Academic Year Internship Program. Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits). Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States. Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026. Must be willing to work in New York, NY. For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship. NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire. Desired Characteristics: Students with class standing of junior or above preferred. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. For Peacock Business Operations: Currently pursuing a degree in business management, communications, organizational design, economics, industrial and organizational psychology, or similar field; Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with design/visualization is a plus; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with data analysis and reporting; Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail. The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.50. The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $25.00.
