HT Media - Technical Lead - Python

Skills : Python, Django, Java, SQL, Mysql, MongoDb, XML, XPath, HTML5, CSS, Microservices, Rest, Celery, Redis, GCP, AWS, ReactJs, NextJs, Solr / : - Responsible for a team that analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products. - Interacts with product managers and other key stakeholders to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. - Works with project managers to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring releases are delivered on schedule. - Leads software design efforts for specific modules or releases, analyzing user needs and operational constraints to determine technical requirements. - Writes detailed technical specifications based on system architecture and requirements. - Ensures that the team produces clean, clear, efficient, modular, and maintainable code. - Leads by example in this area. - Supervises the team's conformance to security and software development best practices. - Mentors junior engineers and performs extensive code reviews. Requirements : - Proficient in at least one of Python/Django, Java - Proficient in at least one of the frontend technologies ReactJs, NextJs, AngularJs - Experience creating large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed web/mobile applications with databases, and designing web services, APIs, data models and schemas, using SQL or NoSQL. - Worked on different data storage solutions such as Postgres, Mysql and MongoDB. - Working knowledge of Solr or ElasticSearch is required with the intent to learn and scale up - Experience with Cloud environments, such as GCP and AWS. - Worked and shipped high quality software in Agile environments previously. - Will ensure timely and frequent delivery of high-quality software, while adapting technical decisions to the immediate needs of the business. - Good analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
