As an LPN in this fast-paced and clinically diverse environment, you will play a critical role in supporting dialysis treatments for patients across various hospital units, including ICU settings. What You’ll Do: Deliver high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse in accordance with the Georgia Board of Nursing Practice Act Perform and monitor hemodialysis and plasmapheresis treatments per approved policies and procedures Access grafts/fistulas and initiate dialysis using unit protocols Operate and troubleshoot dialysis machines and equipment Administer IV medications and blood products as ordered Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including critical care situations Provide bedside dialysis care to critically ill patients Assist with patient and family education, supporting understanding of treatment plans and resources Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction Document care, treatments, and patient responses in compliance with hospital policies Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence What You Bring: Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing Active Georgia LPN license and current BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year LPN experience preferred; dialysis experience highly desired Strong critical thinking and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative care team Willingness to float to patient bedsides throughout the hospital (ICU, Med/Surg, etc.) Why Atrium Health Navicent?
