Calling all aspiring IT Support Technicians! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a leading provider of ICT support, infrastructure services, hardware, software and audio visual solutions to schools and colleges across the UK. They are now on the hunt to hire their next IT Support Apprentice to join their team of experts!

As an IT Support Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for providing 1st line support to clients, creating accounts, software support and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!


?In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Microsoft Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.


A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for all types of service requests
  • Coordination of all support resources to ensure maximum utilisation of time
  • Pre-process service requests as they arrive through email, phone, or direct customer input
  • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages
  • Creation of new customer user accounts: Active Directory, Office 365
  • Basic Microsoft operating system and application support
  • Support of basic infrastructure and devices e.g. Print management

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.


Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • Salary - £17,500 - £19,000 (Depending on experience)
  • Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 24 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic Microsoft operating system and application knowledge.
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
  • Service awareness of all organizations key services for which support is being provided.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
