Apprenticeship - insurance - Energy sector

We are looking for an intern for 6 months or an apprentice to join the Enerisk team for over 12 to 24 months in this period of strong development for the company. The apprenticeship will provide you with exposure to the energy and natural resources sectors in a French and international environment.

Responsibilities of the apprentice will include in particular:

Participation in reviewing insurance needs for energy, natural resources and infrastructure projects and helping customers define the appropriate insurance strategy, in insurance broking activities, risk management missions or audits.

· Responsibility of several existing customers with energy, natural resources, and infrastructure projects

o Developing the commercial relationship with customers

o Monitoring, leading and developing the portfolio

o Analyzing customers' needs and risks and provide them with technical and insurance advice

o Coordination of insurance policy placement on the market and negotiation with insurers

o Preparation and negotiation of renewals

o Coordination of claim handling.

Support Enerisk commercial development activities and perform research on identified strategic development areas for the Enerisk team.
Participate into the day-to-day accounting and reporting tasks of the company.
As in any dynamic, agile organization, the responsibilities are likely to evolve over time. Further involvement with Enerisk’s business and clients may certainly be considered for a willing candidate.

Experience / Qualifications / Skills:

Academic background in insurance or business school with insurance specialty
If possible, professional experience in the insurance business is a plus (liability / property & casualty)
Interest in industrial & energy projects
Experience in credit risk insurance is a plus
Ability to work in a small and dynamic company: self-starter able to use own initiative, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Accuracy and sound judgement are key. Able to multitask and flourish in a time-pressured role.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the internship involves building and maintaining relationships with counterparts and clients.
Fluency in English is a plus.

Start date: as soon as possible

Duration: 12-24 months

Location: flexibility between remote and on-site working.
Enerisk’s offices are in:

· Le Havre

· Paris, 11th arrondissement.

The assignment can be on both locations. Frequent day trips between 2 sites and at customer premises.
