We have an exciting opportunity to join R team, as a Supply Chain Analyst in the Supply Chain department. In this role, you will maintain product flow and inventory management responsibilities throughout the supply chain. Build and maintain effective working relationships and coordinate with the Stores, Retail Operations, Logistics and Distribution Centre team. The Supply Chain Analyst utilizes the supply chain management software, AGR to perform exception management, inventory optimization, and sales management. Responsibilities: Collaborates with Buyers to develop flow strategies for product and implement new item forecasts to ensure proper initial flow at time of first receipt. Manage and maintain forecasts, promotional & bridge sales adjustments that accurately reflect sale trends to generate appropriate store level product allocations to maximize sales. Provide proper and timely forecasts that will support vendor replenishment orders. Implement unique/custom sales plans as required (i.e. hyper seasonal and trending items). Utilizes Forecasting reports to troubleshoot issues and effectively solve them using sound business judgment Review forecast accuracy to prioritize categories or brands requiring additional attention. Determine, implement, and maintain settings in Demand/Forecasting application to ensure business objectives are met while optimizing product flow. Assist in the development of sales plans for unique items or special events, and provide Logistics and DC Operations teams with all necessary information. Create and validate vendor replenishment orders ensuring the DCs receive the right product at the right time. Manage and maintain vendor schedules and vendor constraints as the business dictates. Make recommendations, develop tools or automate processes to optimize the forecast / inventory / replenishment processes. Develop and manage DC replenishment strategies to ensure overall product objectives for inventory, turns, and in-stocks are met, while taking into consideration the store format, volume and demographics. Collaborate with business partners (including, but not limited to Merchandising, eCommerce, Merchandise Financial Planning, Allocation, Marketing, Store Planning, Distribution/Logistics) to improve opportunities within the company’s business processes. Provide support, direction, coaching and leadership to team members and business partners Determine, implement, and maintain policies in the AGR tool to ensure business objectives are met while optimizing product flow Develop flow plans for unique items or special events, and provides Planning Team with all necessary information Analyze risks of out of stock via AGR reporting Act as first point of contact for Planning partners to determine optimal flow for upcoming events and business initiatives Prepare weekly in stock reports for Buyers Provide support to the Stores and Retail Operations with OOS issues and opportunities; review store inventory requests Create and run Management reports Ensure store demands for upcoming flyers are met within AGR Utilize AGR reporting tools to identify opportunities, imbalances and analyze inventory metrics Implement and adjust necessary AGR settings to control store flow as needed. Make recommendations to optimize the inventory replenishment process including automating any current manual processes Develop and manage Store replenishment strategies to ensure overall product objectives for inventory, turns, and in-stocks are met, while taking into account store format, volume and demographics considerations Partners daily with the Planning team on systems-related issues, in-stocks, inventory, and overall product flow Utilize AGR reports to capture possible sales opportunities Review store inventory requests Partners with Logistics and DC operations to identify product flow improvement opportunities within our supply chain Qualifications: 3 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain in an Analyst (or similar) capacity Previous experience with supply chain management software (AGR) would be an asset Post Secondary College or University with degree/diploma in Supply Chain an asset Proficient at understanding complex technical information and translating it into relevant business terms and concepts Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, ACCESS) Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities, with a strong sense of urgency Applies strategic thinking to day-to-day tactical execution Communicates clearly and concisely, both written and verbal Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills Capable of influencing others in the best interest of the business Acts decisively and swiftly to address key short-term and long-term business issues Possesses strong organizational and analytical skills Working knowledge of eCommerce operations We are a Great Place to Join, Work, Learn & Stay Toys”R”Us is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
