Expatriate Process expert – IB2 - Senze project (China) – high efficiency Alumina production

Context of the challenge

• IB2 is an innovative company developing a breakthrough technology designed to beneficiate low grade bauxites before classical bauxite refining.
• Amidst its strong development potential in China, IB2 is setting up the first industrial plan in Shanxi, China (construction 2024), willing to extend the expert pool team and hire an on-site process expatriate to manage and optimize the process and technical part of the plant, in relation with the operation team.

Main responsibilities

• Is the focus point of process and quality on site,
• Together with IB2 technical tram, manages on site problem solving and optimization of start- up and ramp-up of the IB2 industrial unit using the IB2 technology
• Participates to the operation manuals development and Operations team training
• Guarantees IP is managed according to IB2 plan

Assignment

• 2 year expatriate on site ( Shanxi, China)
• Logical evolution to the technical experts pool of IB2, in China or into other assignments like project management.

Profile

• Bayer process expertise or mineral continuous processing (Nickel, ..)
• Foreign countries experience (work experience in Asia if possible)
• Problem solving, autonomy, multicultural work capability, quick learning
