Job Description

Well established food manufacturer seeks to employ a Quality Manager to manage the QA and QC functions, systems and staff. Based in EPPING . For the position you would be required to have: Minimum of Grade 12 National Diploma/ Degree in Food Technology or related field Computer literate: MS Office, SAP Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the food industry Experience handling customer complaints FSSC 22000global standard experience Experience in AIB audits will be a definite advantage Management experience important Responsibilities would include you to: Manage and continuously improve quality system through use of but not exclusively, HACCP, GMPs and SOPs Conduct internal inspections for hygiene & pest control to meet GMPs Ensure factory employees meet the given quality standards at all times Responsible for conducting customer audits Conduct and reach approval on third party audits from AIB & FSSC. Manage and ensure actions from all external audits are completed in a timeous fashion Management of complaints system, including timeous response to customers as well as actioning any system changes required Manage and organise permanent staff in reporting structure. Manage all leave requirements for reporting structure Co-ordinate with external cleaning service to ensure hygiene standards are met at all time Management of Pest Control contractor to ensure infestation-free site Management of reject stock with emphasis on destination to ensure stock is dealt with timeously Please apply online or contact Jan van Dyk on 021 531 2015 for more information
