Chief Information Officer

Position Purpose: As a Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will be responsible for shaping and driving the IT strategy of the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and leading IT transformation efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage IT services and delivery while ensuring compliance, risk management, and financial optimisation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with business objectives and future growth plans Oversee IT governance, compliance, and risk management, ensuring adherence to regulations Manage IT service delivery, ensuring high-quality, timely solutions that meet business needs Collaborate with business units to align IT demand and supply with organizational goals Provide oversight of the IT budget, ensuring financial management and value optimisation Lead digital transformation initiatives and architectural changes to drive business innovation Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT and business priorities Experience: 5-7 years in a CIO or Head of IT role Extensive knowledge of managed care services and technology application in the life industry Proven track record of managing IT services, budget ownership, and strategic IT planning Qualifications: Graduate-level degree in IT management or a recognised IT professional qualification Strong financial acumen and experience in reporting and costing Competencies: Strategic thinking and problem-solving Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Leadership and collaboration Financial management and IT governance expertise Skills: Organisational and problem-solving skills Strong planning, organising, and coordination abilities Strategic and analytical thinking Change management and risk-taking
