Trainer / Training officer / Facilitator

Trainer / Teacher or Lecturer We are looking for a vibrant Trainer with background in teaching or lecturing Maths and Science for one of our clients, to be based in Johannesburg. The candidate will be fundamental for our team development and support. He/she will be responsible for delivering an engaging and stimulating curriculum in a range of related subjects effecting the business outputs. They must also be able to effectively manage training rooms, motivate employees, provide feedback, and monitor progress. Key Responsibilities defined but not limited to the below. Designs appropriate training as needed Deliver mentoring and training to employees on all aspects of the business and or co-ordinate appropriate vendors, experts in the field to provide this training. Identify individual and team skills gaps Assess and evaluate employees progress. Co - ordinate efforts with foreign group companies. Obtain feedback on the effectiveness of the training. Forge relationships with educational institutions. Formalise and monitor annual training budget. SDL training submissions. Conceptualize training materials based on data and research Communicate training needs and online resources Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology Test and review created materials Maintain a database of all training materials Minimum Requirements Qualification and Experience Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)NQF Level 6, Diploma (including a college or NATED diploma); OR. an appropriate 360-credit NQF Level 7, bachelors degree. Matric, preferably Diploma, Degree with a basis in the sciences, maths. Knowledge of the latest teaching methods and developments in education. Ability to plan, prepare and deliver interactive and engaging lessons. Excellent organisational and communication skills Preferable 4 - 5 years teaching / lecturing experience. Drivers License. English and Afrikaans spoken fluently and written. Microsoft Office.
