Junior Accountant

Area/Location: Randpark Ridge, Johannesburg Job Opportunity: Junior Accountant A well-established Financial Services Group based in Randpark Ridge/Randburg is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant/Junior Accountant to join our accounting department. This role is integral to supporting our daily financial operations and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. Its an excellent chance for recent accounting graduates to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting or for experienced professionals seeking new challenges. Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice management and payment reconciliation. Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support the accounting team with audits and compliance activities. Handle administrative tasks related to accounting functions as needed. Desired Experience & Qualifications: Higher education diploma/degree or equivalent in accounting or finance. Previous experience in an accounting role is advantageous. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
